In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 31, 2020, Demarcus Lee, a 33-year-old male, was fatally shot while waiting at a red light. The incident occurred at the intersection of Peachtree Road and Peachtree Battle Avenue, across from the Peachtree Battle Promenade shopping center. Lee was discovered in the driver's seat of his vehicle with a gunshot wound to his torso.
