On the early morning of July 5, 2020, in Atlanta, Georgia, 32-year-old Erica Michelle Robinson was caught in a tragic and senseless act of violence that cut her life short. She had gone to Auburn Avenue to watch the Fourth of July fireworks after leaving work. What began as a festive gathering quickly devolved into chaos when a dispute escalated into a mass shooting, resulting in the death of Robinson and 20-year-old Joshua Ingram, and leaving more than a dozen others wounded.
