Brandon Lee Spruill, aged 23, was shot and killed on July 23, 2012, in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood of West Baltimore. The incident took place at the corner of McKean and Baker Streets, a location where Brandon often gathered with friends. According to reports, he was ambushed by two armed individuals who demanded that he and his friends lie on the ground before proceeding to rob them.
