In the early morning hours of January 6, 2021, a grim discovery was made on Spread Oak Road near Hannah Lane in Keysville, Georgia. Responding to a call about a possible traffic accident, deputies from the Burke County Sheriff's Office found the body of 33-year-old Brian Tervontia Carswell. It was quickly determined that this was no accident; Carswell had been shot to death.
