On the evening of April 17, 2021, the life of 17-year-old Y'Kedria Lowe Grier was tragically cut short in a room at the Deluxe Inn in Dawson, Georgia. A female, she was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds, the result of an altercation that had taken place within the motel. The Dawson Police Department responded to a call about a shooting and found her deceased at the scene.
