Devan Markette Jackson, a 17-year-old African American male from Lithonia, Georgia, tragically lost his life on October 15, 2021. Devan was a senior at Stephenson High School and a member of the JROTC, with aspirations to join the U.S. Navy. His untimely death occurred in Stone Mountain, Georgia, during a violent altercation that escalated into a fatal shooting.
