In the fall of 2021, a young boy's life was tragically cut short in a southwest Atlanta apartment complex. Eight-year-old Kayden Jones, a male, had only recently moved to the city from Florida with his family. On the night of November 13, police were called to the Brentwood Heights complex on Alison Court around 10:15 p.m., where they found Kayden with a single gunshot wound to his head.
