Alan Newsome, a 25-year-old white male from Hephzibah, GA, tragically lost his life on March 18, 2022. Alan, who was an Army veteran and a nurse at Fort Gordon, was found dead in a driveway on Ulm Road, approximately six miles from his home on Woodlake Drive. His death was a result of a violent altercation where he was struck in the head twice with an unknown blunt object and subsequently shot in the head. The incident occurred early in the morning, and Alan was pronounced dead at 1:51 a.m.
