On a tragic day in Baltimore, the life of 20-year-old Tyreka Martin was cut short in a brutal act of violence. On the morning of March 19, 2013, police were called to a three-story apartment building in the 2200 block of North Fulton Avenue in the Fulton Heights neighborhood. Inside a second-floor apartment, they discovered a grim scene: three young people had been shot.
