Judith Staley, a 79-year-old white female, tragically lost her life on June 30, 2022, in Villa Rica, Georgia. The incident occurred when her husband, Donald Staley, aged 80, called 911 to report that he had shot his wife and intended to shoot himself. Upon arrival, Carroll County deputies and a Georgia State Patrol trooper found Donald Staley outside his home, armed but compliant.
