In a quiet Villa Rica, Georgia community, the long life of 79-year-old Judith Staley came to a sudden and violent end in the summer of 2022. On the afternoon of June 30th, a chilling 911 call was made by her 80-year-old husband, Donald Staley. He informed the operator that he had just shot his wife and was intending to take his own life. This call set in motion a response that would uncover a tragedy within the couple's home of 55 years.
