Ronnie Albea, a 41-year-old man from Macon, GA, tragically lost his life on August 5, 2022, in a violent incident at a Walmart parking lot on Harrison Road. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office reported that Albea, who was with his fiancée, Misty Cox, was approached by two men who attempted to carjack them. When Albea refused to hand over his car keys, he was shot during the ensuing struggle. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Albea was pronounced dead shortly after.
