In the summer of 2013, the life of 36-year-old Kwane Davis, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short on the streets of Baltimore, Maryland. On the evening of June 17th, at approximately 11:37 p.m., Davis was discovered on the 2600 block of Grogan Avenue, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
Emergency personnel who arrived at the scene were unable to save him, and he succumbed to his injuries. His death was one of many that contributed to a violent year in the city.
