In the afternoon hours of November 7, 2024, the life of Roger Hawkins, a 27-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short on a street in Baltimore, Maryland. First responders were called to the 3700 block of Gwynn Oak Avenue around 3:32 p.m. following multiple reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Hawkins unresponsive, having sustained multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds.
