On October 31, 2022, a night that should have been filled with festivities, turned into a tragedy for the family of Akquan Li Williams. The 21-year-old Black male from Acworth, Georgia, was attending an event on Bishop Street in northwest Atlanta when his life was cut short. He was an innocent bystander, caught in the crossfire of a senseless argument that erupted into gunfire.
