David Eriale "Dave" McArthur, a 43-year-old white male, was found dead on March 9, 1948, in Pass-a-Grille, St. Pete Beach, Florida. McArthur, who was born on November 18, 1904, in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee, had a notable career as a college and professional athlete.
