Lillian Levine Gans, aged 60, tragically lost her life on July 17, 1974, in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida. She and her husband, Sydney Gans, were victims of a brutal kidnapping and murder. The couple was abducted by Thomas Knight, who later changed his name to Askari Abdullah Muhammad. Knight, a parolee at the time, forced Sydney Gans to drive to their home, where he also took Lillian Gans hostage.
