Reserve Deputy George A. Pfeil, a 57-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on December 29, 1977, in Lake Mary, Florida. Deputy Pfeil, who had a distinguished career as a retired New York City police officer and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, was volunteering his time with the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.
