Ruth Green, a 67-year-old woman from Palm Bay, Florida, was tragically killed on April 23, 1987, during a shooting spree carried out by William Bryan Cruse Jr. Cruse, a 59-year-old man, embarked on a violent rampage that day, targeting multiple locations in Palm Bay. Armed with a semiautomatic assault rifle, a shotgun, and a pistol, Cruse first attacked his neighbors before driving to the Palm Bay Center, a local shopping area.
