Douglas Gerald Johnson, a 28-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on April 23, 1987, in Palm Bay, Florida. Officer Johnson, who had been serving with the Palm Bay Police Department for just under a year, was responding to a mass shooting incident when he was fatally shot.
