On April 23, 1987, Lester Watson was tragically killed during a shooting spree in Palm Bay, Florida. The perpetrator, William Bryan Cruse Jr., embarked on a violent rampage that resulted in the deaths of six individuals, including Watson, and injuries to fourteen others.
