Lee Merlin Simonton, aged 33, tragically lost his life on June 18, 1990, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was one of the victims in a horrific shooting spree that took place at the General Motors Acceptance Corporation (GMAC) office. The perpetrator, James Edward Pough, carried out the attack, killing nine people and wounding four others before taking his own life.
