Edvard Almonor, an 18-year-old student from North Miami High School, tragically lost his life on April 21, 1994. The incident occurred during lunchtime in the school's parking lot when Almonor was accidentally shot in the chest by his classmate, Tyhno Rock. Rock had gone to his car to show off a gun to two friends. As he was pulling the gun out, Almonor, who was standing a few feet away, called out Rock's name.
