Makia Ann Coney, a 17-year-old student from Jacksonville, Florida, was tragically murdered on February 10, 2010. Makia was a well-liked student at University Christian School, known for her kind and lively nature. On the day of her death, she was last seen leaving the school campus. Her body was later discovered in a wooded area about three miles from the school.
