On January 15, 2012, 21-year-old Octavia Barnett was tragically found dead in her apartment in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida. The incident was a triple homicide that also claimed the lives of her roommate, 25-year-old Natasha Plummer, and Plummer's six-month-old son, Carlton Stringer Jr. The bodies were discovered by a friend who went to check on them after not hearing from them for some time.
