Deputy Sheriff Barbara Ann Pill, aged 53, tragically lost her life on March 6, 2012, in Melbourne, Florida. She was fatally shot during a traffic stop near the intersection of John Rodes Boulevard and Elena Way. The vehicle she stopped was linked to a stolen property report from a local motel.
