Gary Morales, a 35-year-old Hispanic male, was a sergeant with the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office in Florida. On February 28, 2013, he was tragically killed during a routine traffic stop on Naylor Terrace in Fort Pierce. Morales, a 13-year veteran of the department, was conducting the stop when the suspect, Eriese Tisdale, exited his vehicle and opened fire.
