Elio Acosta, a 56-year-old Miami-Dade Fire Rescue employee, tragically lost his life on November 20, 2013, in Miami, Florida. The incident occurred at a residence located at 10330 NW 35th Avenue, where a 911 call reported a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center, where one succumbed to his injuries while the other remained in critical but stable condition.
