Elio Acosta, a 56-year-old Miami-Dade Fire Rescue employee, tragically lost his life on November 20, 2013, in Miami, Florida. Sousa was later found in the area of 15200 Block of SW 177th Avenue with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. A weapon matching the one used in the incident was discovered next to his body.
