Lisa Marie Veney, a 42-year-old woman from Jacksonville, FL, tragically lost her life on December 29, 2013. Lisa, who was of African American descent, was fatally shot by her estranged husband, Sheridan Landell Veney Sr., during a meeting at an Applebee's restaurant on South Lane Avenue. The couple had met at the restaurant to discuss matters with their 18-year-old daughter. During the meeting, an argument ensued, and as Lisa attempted to leave, Sheridan followed her to the door and shot her mul ...
