On January 5, 2014, 20-year-old Jonathan Rodriguez-Jeff from Daytona Beach, Florida, died by suicide following a series of violent incidents at Halifax Health Medical Center. The events unfolded in the early morning hours when Rodriguez-Jeff crashed his vehicle into a hospital parking lot gate.
