Zamari Pierre Louis, a 16-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on January 15, 2014, in Miami Gardens, Florida. On that fateful evening, Zamari was walking home from a convenience store when an unknown assailant or assailants opened fire, fatally wounding him near Northwest 18th Avenue and 151st Street.
