Dequarius Durant, a 23-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on April 14, 2014, in Pensacola, Florida. Durant's death was the result of a premeditated ambush orchestrated by a group of individuals who took offense to Durant's alleged involvement in robbing local drug dealers. The incident occurred outside an abandoned residence in the Mayfair community, where Durant was lured under the pretense of a drug transaction.
