Bryan Matthew Layfield, a 15-year-old from Jacksonville, Florida, tragically lost his life on June 15, 2014. Known affectionately as "Mattman," Bryan was a beloved son, friend, and community member. His untimely death was the result of a shooting incident that occurred at his home on the Westside of Jacksonville.
