John Torian, aged 77, passed away on September 6, 2014, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a longtime resident of the city and a retired Executive Director of the Peace Corps. His death was the result of a tragic incident that unfolded at his home on Gumwood Drive West. On that fateful day, police were called to the scene following reports of gunshots.
