Cheryl Parker Carlyle, a 49-year-old woman from Jacksonville, FL, was found dead on November 21, 2014, in what was later confirmed to be a murder-suicide. The Medical Examiner's Office determined that Cheryl Parker Carlyle died from a gunshot wound to the back of her head, classifying her death as a homicide. Her husband, David Lee Carlyle, aged 57, was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the side of his head, and his death was ruled a suicide.
