Jonathan Wells, a 14-year-old from Key West, Florida, tragically died on April 10, 2015, after being shot in the chest with a pellet gun. The incident occurred in a Key West apartment, where Jonathan was found unresponsive and had vomited. Despite being rushed to Lower Keys Medical Center and later airlifted to a Miami hospital, Jonathan succumbed to his injuries five days after the incident.
