The body of Donna Arrasmith, 52, of Mount Vernon, was found about 9 p.m. Monday in the Happy Valley Farms shop where she worked, one of several shops in the Pier 7 complex on the town's waterfront.

La Conner Police Chief Larry Yonally said the woman's body was found in a storage area of the shop by the building's owner-manager. It was not clear whether the store, which had closed at 5 p.m., had been robbed, Yonally said.
