Lamarris Deshawn Jackson, a 24-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on November 7, 2015, at the East Pointe Place apartments in Fort Myers, Florida. The incident occurred around 7 p.m. when multiple 911 calls reported a disturbance at the apartment complex. Upon arrival, Fort Myers police officers found Jackson suffering from a gunshot wound, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
