On November 7, 2015, 18-year-old Christina Meagher was fatally shot at the Regency Inn and Suites on Church Avenue in Tampa, Florida. The incident occurred during a sexual role-play scenario with 21-year-old Tyrone Fields, whom she had met just two days prior. According to Fields, the two were engaged in consensual sexual activity when he placed his 9mm handgun to her head as part of their role-play.
