Ezzell Grant Jr., a 30-year-old African American male, was found with a life-threatening gunshot wound in the parking lot of an apartment complex in Lauderhill, Florida, on November 14, 2015. When authorities arrived at the scene, they discovered Grant dressed in women's clothing, a detail that puzzled his family and friends, who were unaware of him leading such a lifestyle. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Grant succumbed to his injuries.
