Donkevious D. Johnson, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 13, 2016, in Daytona Beach, Florida. Johnson, a former football player at Glades Central High School and a student at Bethune-Cookman University, was attending a party at the Indigo Lakes Golf Club when a fight broke out. The altercation escalated, leading to a shooting that resulted in Johnson's death. He was transported to Halifax Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
