James Ray Forsyth, a 61-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on March 5, 2016, in Lake Butler, Florida. The incident occurred during an argument inside a car near the intersection of County Road 796 and County Road 796A. The altercation escalated, resulting in Forsyth being shot by Thomas Wayne Powell, Jr., a 38-year-old relative. Forsyth died at the scene from a single gunshot wound.
