On April 19, 2016, Ledarius Fitzgerald, an 18-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed in West Palm Beach, Florida. The incident occurred around 5:15 a.m. at the intersection of 15th Street and Division Avenue. Fitzgerald was found lying in the street and was pronounced dead at the scene. The autopsy revealed that he had been shot multiple times in the chest and back.
