Devon Deshun Washington, a 24-year-old resident of Bartow, Florida, tragically lost his life on June 11, 2016. On the night of the incident, Devon's girlfriend, Christine E. Wilson, and her six-year-old son were also present in the home. Wilson hid in the hallway and later escaped through a bedroom window with her son when she heard gunshots. She witnessed the suspects leaving the apartment and driving away. Devon was still alive when she returned but succumbed to his injuries shortly after paramedics arrived.
The investigation into Devon Washington's death has been challenging due to the lack of detailed descriptions of the assailants and their vehicle.
