Christopher Andrew "Drew" Leinonen, aged 32, tragically lost his life on June 12, 2016, in the horrific mass shooting at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida. Leinonen, a native of Detroit, Michigan, was at the club with his boyfriend, Juan Ramon Guerrero, who also perished in the attack. The Pulse nightclub shooting, carried out by Omar Mateen, resulted in the deaths of 49 individuals and left 53 others injured, marking it as one of the deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history.
