John Vargas, a 29-year-old man from the Bronx, New York, was found dead on July 7, 2016, in a wooded area near the 700 block of Goodlette-Frank Road in Naples, Florida. Vargas was on vacation in Naples to celebrate his upcoming 30th birthday and to visit his sister, Connie Serbu. His body was discovered alongside that of 18-year-old Xavier Sierra, a recent high school graduate from Golden Gate, Florida.
