Christo "Sto" Maccius, a 25-year-old substitute teacher and former football standout from Boca Raton, Florida, tragically lost his life on July 30, 2016. Maccius was shot six times as he and two friends were leaving O'Connor's Pub in Sandalfoot Plaza, located near State Road 7 and the Broward County line. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m., and despite efforts from his friends and bystanders, Maccius succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
