Augustus "Gus" Byam, a 34-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on May 6, 2017, in Boca Raton, Florida. Byam, who had been living out of his pickup truck but was two years sober, was looking forward to marriage and expanding his new landscaping business. His life was cut short when he was found dead in his truck near Glades Road and Federal Highway, having been shot in the head.
