On the night of August 15, 2016, Spencer Robinson, a 35-year-old African American man, was tragically shot and killed in Miami Gardens, Florida. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. in front of his sister Helena's home, located at Northwest 193rd Street and 39th Court. Spencer was with his 12-year-old son, Sylvester Robinson, who was also injured in the shooting. Sylvester, who was sitting inside the house, was struck in the foot by a bullet but survived the attack.
