David Goldsmith, a 49-year-old African American man, was found dead in his apartment at the Magnolia Terrace complex in Jacksonville, Florida, on September 13, 2016. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to reports of gunfire and discovered his body after breaching the front door of his apartment.
