On October 20, 2016, the tragic deaths of 7-year-old Melani Valencia, her 18-year-old sister Jael Valencia, and their father Jesus Valencia shocked the community of Ochopee, Florida. The bodies of the three family members were discovered in a black Chevy Malibu parked along Tamiami Trail, just west of the Collier/Miami-Dade county line.
